Created for the Fireside Jam 2025, where the theme was: “hunt”: this game transforms you into a bat, hunting down insects in a randomly generated city, whilst avoiding crashing into the walls. The only problem is, you have to use your echolocation to see. Collect as many insects as you can in 2 minutes to get a high score.
This Game was made with a custom engine that I built with Monogame before being ported to KNI entirely in the 9 days given and all code and assets are mine apart from two fonts I used from FontSpace. The music and sound effects were made in the time by myself using Ableton Live Lite and all art was made with Inkscape.

Pretty fire game, although its quite confusing to start of with if your echolocation ability doesn't reveal anything and it doesn't look like your moving. Great work!
I made it so that if you follow the tutorial and use it immediately, an insect will always be directly in front of you. Thx a lot for the kind words
My High Score is 61, can you beat it?
I got 32 first try. the following 7 attempts were less than 20 lol.
Good Try, thanks for playing it
